Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about bibip and the Armenian driving theory exam.

Yes — every question, every practice test, and the exam are completely free. In the future we may show ads for driving schools, but practicing will always stay free.

The questions come from the official question bank published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on roadpolice.am. bibip has all 10 official question groups plus a color-plate practice set (group 11); the official psychological-test questions are not published. Since September 1, 2026, candidates for categories A, B and C (and subcategories AM, A1, B1 and C1) get questions on the law, the Rules of the Road and the vehicle-faults list only if they apply to vehicles of those categories (Decision No. 385-N, Annex 1, point 17.1). By our comparison, the new A/B/C bank on roadpolice.am has 1050 questions (it was 1094): about 100 removed and about 58 new. Since October 5, 2026, bibip uses this bank. Details are in the article "New question bank 2026".

No. You can practice any topic and take the exam without registering. A free account adds progress tracking, saved exam results, and review of your wrong answers.

The bibip exam follows the official format. It starts with 3 questions from group 11, bibip's color-plate set, which stands in for the psychological test. One wrong answer ends the exam, just as a mistake in the real psychological test keeps you out of the knowledge test. Then come 20 questions in the official split: 2 from group 2 (the law), 15 from groups 1 and 4–9 (Rules of the Road), 2 from group 3 (vehicle faults) and 1 from group 10 (first aid). You pass with at least 18 correct answers out of 20; the first 3 questions don't count toward the score. You have 30 minutes to answer. You can take the exam without an account, but then nothing is saved: if you reload or leave the page, the exam starts over. When you take it in your account, the result is saved and the server enforces the 30-minute limit, so reloading the page doesn't reset the timer. The exam uses the A/B/C question bank. bibip is an independent study site and is not affiliated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the Road Police.

Armenian, Russian, and English. You can switch language anytime — practice questions are available in all three.
