Choose an answer to check yourself.
Answer and explanation
Correct answer: Permitted in both of the above cases.
Explanation
On all roads with three or more lanes in one direction, built-up areas included, a passenger car may take the leftmost lane in heavy traffic, to overtake, and to turn left or make a U-turn. Only trucks over 3.5 t and regular passenger transport are limited to a left turn or U-turn (Rules, point 57).
