Group 9 · Signals, lights, overtaking and railway crossings · Question 111 of 119
If you intend to stop immediately after the intersection, when should you activate the right turn signal so as not to mislead other road users?

Choose an answer to check yourself.
Answer and explanation
Correct answer: After entering the intersection.
Explanation
A signal must be clear and must not mislead anyone. If you turn on the right indicator before the intersection, a driver waiting on the road to the right may think you are turning there. So when you intend to stop right after the intersection, switch it on only after entering it (Rules, point 36).
