Explanation

Plate 8.16 "Wet surface" means the sign applies only while the roadway surface is wet. That plate is attached only to the 50 km/h sign 3.24 "Maximum speed limit". Warning signs 1.15 "Slippery road" and 1.18 "Gravel spray" have no plate, so they apply whatever the state of the surface (Rules, signs 3.24 and 8.16).
